I am proficient in trigger point therapy, neuro muscular, myofascial release, Tai massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage. I graduated from American Institute of massage therapy in 2000. I have practiced massage for the last 10 years professionally. My name is Thomas Yang a licensed massage therapist and Tai Chi instructor of A Place of Health Chiropractic. I joined A place of Health to bring my experience to our patients who trust us with their care. I find it so fulfilling for me to help others in their healing process. I took all the extra training i could and was mentored by the best instructors. I knew then that I wanted to become a massage therapist and be able to help people the way I was helped by massage. ![]() ![]() I found that massage however, was a game changer and helped me heal when I returned home. I was injured in Iraq and needed to have a honorable discharge due to the injuries. I went into the Army and served for 15 years in which I endured episodes of lower back and neck pains. I moved here to South Florida after finishing high school. I was born in Brooklyn, New York and I was raised in Atlanta. ![]() I'm passionate about my craft and do my utmost to make a difference in peoples lives by helping them recover from injuries and the stress of working long hours. I have training in medical and lymphatic massage, which includes deep tissue, trigger point, neuromuscular massage, post injury rehabilitation reflexology, and Swedish massage. I have been a licensed massage therapist for over 9 years.
